Step into a night where the elegance of tango meets living legends. Milonga La Mirada is honored to welcome the iconic couple Los Ocampo—Mónica Romero & Omar Ocampo—for a deeply enriching celebration of tradition, passion, and community.
About Los Ocampo
Los Ocampo are true treasures of Argentine Tango and Folklore, with over 40 years of partnership and performance worldwide. They met as dancers in Buenos Aires' Carlos Copes company, married in 1984, and went on to mesmerize audiences with their company Tango Bravo, and global shows including Tango Pasión with Sexteto Mayor—a production they toured for 17 years.
Renowned for their charismatic presence, elegant style, and deep knowledge, they direct Argentina’s Encuentro con Los Maestros festival and serve as respected adjudicators in tango competitions
Masters of both Tango and folkloric dances like Chacarera, Zamba, and Malambo, they also teach, choreograph, and have coached countless dancers and celebrities around the world
